Bhoomipujan performed for Sanskrit Varsity at Jabalpur

A large number of religious gurus and public representatives, on Friday performed bhoomipujan for three story building of Pt Loknath Shashtri Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya at Dr Rajendra Prasad ward. The Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) would construct the building with an estimated cost of Rs 1.35 crore.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Sharad Jain said money would not let be constrain for further development of the college. He said the college building would help students study in good environment.

Mayor Dr Swati Godbole said the college building would be a gift for students learning Sanskrit. She also thanked Rajya Sabha MP, Meghraj Jain for declaring donation of Rs 10 lakh. The three-story college building is proposed to be constructed on 20608 square feet area in one year. The building would have study classes, library, computer room, hostel, offices, staff room, waiting lobby, kitchen, toilets and
parking space.
