Mayor announces facilities during Bhopal ki Choupal

Mayor of Bhopal, Alok Sharma during his public hearing session, Bhopal ki Choupal announced some facilities, including boundary wall, toilets to Mira Nagar Government Primary School after its students addressed their grievances before him on Monday at his residence here.
On Monday, it was the 4th session of Bhopal ki Choupal, a public hearing session undertaken by Sharma every Monday since April 10.
During the fourth session of the public hearing, some students of Meera Nagar Government Primary School came to attend it and addressed their grievances regarding lack of many facilities before Mayor Sharma. After listening to their grievances, he announced the construction of a boundary wall, a park and separate toilets for boys and girls along with on the spot electricity connection with proper meter. He also ordered installation of about 200 chairs and tables in the school to facilitate the children studying there.
The fourth session also witnessed some physically challenged residents of various parts of the city attending it along with their demands and grievances. One of the physically challenged attendee, Anil Kumar demanded a house from the Mayor citing no proper housing facility due to poor financial conditions on which the Mayor announced a house for him on the spot under Prime Minister Housing for All scheme.
Another physically challenged complained of no proper water supply facility on which the Mayor announced immediate water supply connection to him. Public Relation Officer (BMC) Harish Gupta said that the fourth session received about 128 applications, comprising complaints and demands from the residents of various parts of the city. The public hearing session is receiving good support from the peeple after which the BMC has become more determined to serve the people of this city in a much better way.
