Hira Punjabi wins prizes in forest photography contest

Hira Punjabi bagged first prizes in forest and biodiversity categories in photography competition organised by Forest Department to mark International Forestry Day on March 21, while Bharat Shinde won the first prize in the third category of social forestry. The department declared the results of the competition on Wednesday. In all 144 photographers took part in the competition while the department received 1,058 entries in different categories. The first prize in each category consists of Rs 15,000, second prize - Rs 10,000 and third prize - Rs 6,000. The names of the winners are: Forest theme - Hira Punjabi - first prize,
