Amar Shaheed Smriti Mela gets good response

THE ongoing Amar Shaheed Smriti Mela is being organised by Mahaksoshal Shaheed Smarak Trust at Gole Bazar ground continuing the tradition of wide range of amusement, rare display of handicraft, handloom and performing arts is gaining tremendous response from city dwellers. On Thursday, evening a special programme of rare art of speaking dolls was inaugurated at the Amar Shaheed Mela.


The programme of noted Television Artist from Kolkata, Anjan Kumar opened at the open theatre of Amar Shaheed Mela. The performance of national repute artist would be organised every day for free for the visitors coming to fair.


Coordinator, Magician SK Nigam describing about the rare art of performing speaking dolls says it is a genuine and unparallel performance of Bantulism. In this, artist perform a discussion of three person including two dolls.
The performance remains full of satire and comment on current issues.


The performance would be an attraction for 15 days.
Co-ordinator of the programme, Bacchan Shrivastava informed that Anjan Kumar comes from Kolkata for this show and fair specially. He is a well known artist in television and in silver screen. On the opening day a large number of children, families and people from different age groups have enjoyed the show.


Members of Mela committee have appealed the residents of the city to visit the Amar Shaheed Mela a destination developed for entertainment, shopping for complete family.
