Class XI student killed in horrific mishap in Waraseoni

A class XI girl student met an untimely end after coming under wheels of truck at Deendayal square at Waraseoni. Locals were enraged and severely thrashed the truck driver.
As per information, class XI student, Himanshi Anil Mahu was going to her school, Government Tihli Bai Excellence School to collect her annual exam result. She was resident of Temni village of Khairanji and was staying with paternal aunt for studies at Waraseoni.

The girl while on her way to school was ran over by truck (MP 20 HB 0811). She was seriously injured and was crying in pain but no one gathered courage to take out the girl stuck in the tyre of the truck. A youth, Kailash Dullani then took out the girl and asked locals to help him to take girl to hospital then he requested a bike rider to help him. He carried girl on the bike to hospital where she died during treatment. Then locals got enraged and staged chakka jam demanding stopping the bus drivers halting at Deendayal square as it was leading to frequent accidents. They also demanded for deploying traffic police at all important squares.

After much discussion by officers, residents ended their stir. They submitted memorandum to SDM OP Sanodiya.
On learning about the incident, MP Bodh Singh Bhagat, Pradeep Jaiswal, Vivek Patel, Sanjay Singh, shailendra Sethi, reached hospital. Former MLA Pradeep Jaiswal arranged his vehicle to take body of deceased girl to her native village Temni for last rites.

Police have arrested the accused truck driver Garapuri Lalburra resident, Dinesh Gendlla chauhan. The deceased girl had passed with flying colours and earned distinction in maths.

It may be mentioned that Deendayal square has turned into unauthorised bus stand. The buses stop on the road and passenger alight and board bus from this spot hence traffic movement is severely affected. Other heavy vehicles also pass from this square and hence frequent road accident occur.

Recently, son of Municipality President Vivek Patel also met with an accident at this same spot and was injured. But bus
