day 2: MP Rakesh Singh visits 15 villages under Sehore Assembly

On the second day of tour to rural areas, Member of Parliament, Rakesh Singh, on Thursday visited as many as 15 village Panchayats of Kundam Mandal under Sehore Assembly.
MP Singh not only declared development works to the tune of Rs 40 lakh in the village Panchayats but also performed bhoomipujan for a bridge on Mahanadi between Makrar and Khirva under Pradhanmantri Gramin Sadak Yojana. The bridge would be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 5.53 crore. MLA, Nandani was also present on the occasion.


Singh started his tour from village Biltukri and visited Satanjhir, Jaitpuri, Devhara, Maheshpuri, Jhiriya, Mahgaon, Harduli, Bhaisvahi, Chouraikala, Sahadra, Mohini, Madai, Makhrar, Khairi, and met villagers.


Speaking on the occasion Singh said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan have constantly been executing scheme development of tribal dominated areas. He said the Chief Minister has recently declared that now Buli and Mahua would be procured on a support price of Rs 30 per kilogram. He said the Union and State government is endeavoring hard for the welfare of rural areas.


Amongst those also present on the occasion were Khiladi Singh Armo, Patiram Bhaveti, Radheshyam Sahu, Kamlesh Sahu, Satish Avasthi, Vijay Sahu, Raju Sahu, Vinit Tiwari and others.
