Agitating 108 Ambulance employees beg on roads

AGITATING 108 Ambulance employees under their agitation strategy on Friday begged on the roads at Idgah hills area to grab attention of the Government towards their genuine demands. On Thursday, these employees had demonstrated half-naked before the Zigiztsa Health Care Company office . The Labour Commissioner has already denied to intervene into matter of 108 Ambulance employees.

Around 3,000 employees of 108 Ambulance were on dharna at Idgah hills for the last 10 days in support of their long pending demands mainly reducing working hours from 12 to 8 and payment as per labour law. The company has refused to accept both the demands. The ambulance services in about all parts of State are deteriorated these days. People injured in road accidents are to go by private vehicles to the hospitals, some are alive some are died due to late reaching hospitals for treatment.

However, the Health Department has claimed peaceful operation of ambulance services in State and press many private vehicles in ambulance services. Many efforts were made to contact Nitindra Mishra, State General Secretary, 108 ambulance employees union but in vain.
