BJP gearing-up to  celebrate Gadkari’s 61st birthday on 27th

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing-up to celebrate 61st birthday of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari here in city on May 27. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday appealed the party cadre for help to raise the fund.

He was addressing a meeting of party leaders at Smruti Mandir, Reshimbagh. State Minister for Social Justice Rajkumar Badole, Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, MP Dr Vikas Mahatme, MLC Girish Vyas, MLA Chainsukh Sancheti, Ramdas Ambatkar, Upendra Kothekar, Ravindra Bhusari were present on the dais. 

The Chief Minister further said that local BJP unit is going to present a purse of Rs 61 lakh to Nitin Gadkari to mark his birthday. With BJP now in upswing, the party workers at ground level are expected to devote totally to spreading the good work done by Government at Centre and State, he said. The party leaders

would be assessing performance of each unit and hence expectations are now quite high from party workers. BJP National President Amit Shaha, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, former Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, Shri Shri Ravishankar, and many national leaders would attend the birthday celebration of Gadkari at Kasturchand Park.

Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule asked all MLAs and MPs to bring more than 1,000 party workers at Kasturchand Park and raise Rs one lakh for the programme. State General Secretary Ramdas Ambatkar asked the party workers to reach out every home in the State along with the information of schemes run by the Government.
