World Laughter Day celebrated in clappo way

Central India Laughter Club celebrated World Laughter Day on Sunday morning near Ramgiri Walkers’ Street, CP Club ground. It was well attended by more than 900 people. Under the Leadership of President Kishore Thutheja.

Different kinds of clapping exercise which is known as Clappo dance were performed and enjoyed by all. Clapping is known to have tremendous health benefits.
Laughter itself is a best medicine and universal Language of binding people. People from all cast, creeds, religion, gender and of different ages enjoyed the celebration.

Initially, the procession started with drums and bands from Japaneses garden gate, which went till end of Ramgiri road. Later it returned to function ground. The entire crowd converted to a laughter house. Last year laughter club celebrated world laughter day by enjoying dog’s weddings which turned out to be world’s largest gathering for dog’s wedding, spreading a message of brotherhood, live life for others, caring, sharing, helping and loving.

Kishore Thutheja informed that Laughter Club concept was started from India itself. Dr. Madan Katariya in the year 1994, started first Laughter Club in Mumbai. Now 142 countries have laughter clubs and Dr. Madan Katariya is the icon of all the clubs around the world.

In the year 1995, Dy. Mayor Late Sardar Tirlochansingh Bawa, started first Laughter Club in Mangalwari garden Nagpur, Later it was started in the The Eastern Sports Club. Today, Nagpur has more than 32 Laughter clubs, almost in every garden.

There is a very strong bonding in Laughter Clubs in Nagpur. The benefit of Laughter Club is known to all but, it brings the participants health with fun, which brings positive energy, smartness, happy-go-lucky and not only leads wonderful life for himself but also brings happiness to his surroundings.

Different types of plackets, banners with messages about laughter benefits, cleanliness drive, world peace by
connecting with laughter, save water, tree plantation.

In the programme Katol MLA Dr Ashish Desmukh was present and actively participated, few members were felicitated with garlands and clippings including Yogini Sunita Wadhwan, Kamlesh Samarth, Israel Khan, Gajendra Soni, Chelaram Behelani, Sardar Jatindar Singh Wahan, Lathika, Vrundan Bawankar.

The success of programme was with the help of following people Harry Mulchandani, Mahesh Kewalramani, Manoj Gorkhe, Jagdish Khatri, Girish Sadhwani, Anil Daswani, Raja Sahastrabudhe, R K Shrivastav, Pattiwarji, Ashok Sarda, Adv Khade, Ramesh Chhabra, Alpa Talavia, Mala Barapatre, Adv Nalin Majithia, Rajni Gajbhiye, Razia Hussain, Adv A P Singh, Dr Laxmi Rao, Pawan Paldiwal, Nitin Parwatkar.
