‘Three years of Modi Govt has transformed country’

Modi Government is committed to eradication of corruption in governance from top to bottom and in three years of rule we have shown the will, acted against the mighty to send the right signals.
This was stated by Union Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, M J Akbar, while speaking at the Sab Ka Sath, Sab Ka Vikas Sammelan’ organised by Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) at Vasantrao Deshpande Memorial Hall here on Tuesday.

Mayor Nanda Jichkar, Dr Vikas Mahatme, MP, Anil Sole, MLC, Sudhakar Kohale, MLA and President of city BJP, Vikas Kumbhare, MLA, Nago Ganar, MLC, Sandeep Jadhav, Chairman, NMC's Standing Committee, B K Mishra, Director (Technical) WCL, Dr Sanjay Kumar, Director (Personnel), Saurab Dubey of WCL's Steering Committee, A K Singh of WCL's Welfare Committee were also seated on the dais.

Akbar explained the three key words of the main slogan of the Government Sab, Sath and Vikas. He said, “The nervousness which was felt by the people of the country before three years has now been replaced by development and a new ray of hope is seen on the faces of the people of the country. The Government is bound by development of all and specially the backward and the unpreviledged sections in the society,” he said.

“During last 70 years we uplifted 60 per cent of the population from below poverty line and now NDA Government is committed to eradication of poverty from the country. The first right of prosperity will be of the unprivileged people. About 400 new cities are being developed as Smart Cities. Daily some change is happening as development is happening at fast pace and the country is moving in the right direction,” he claimed.

Explaining the word Sath- Akbar said, “Any development without involvement of the common people is not possible and hence the Government is taking the help of people and making the development a movement of the people i.e. ‘Jan Andolan’. Transparency in every work is the slogan of the Government and our Prime Minister has rightly said, ‘Na Khaunga Na Khane Dunga’. He assured that new India will be free of corruption. The people of the country and specially the youths were privileged to have the right leadership at the Centre at the right time.

He said, “The next election after the one of 1952 and 1977 will be very historic one as it will see the fulfillment of dreams of independent India”.
Lauding praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the MoS said Modi had dedicated his life for the development of the country. The focus of the Government is on Empowerment of Women and hence schemes like ‘Beti Bachao, Bete Padao’, Ujjwala are announced by the Government.

Elaborating on the development work of the Government Akbar said, “The script of foundation of development has been laid and the writer of the script is Narendra Modi. This three year rule of Modi Government has seen the birth of a new decade.”
Dr Sanjay Kumar made the welcome address while Sourab Dubey proposed the formal vote of thanks.
