Test flight conducted to link Datia with Air Service

Benefit of Air Services will be provided shortly to the citizens of main tourism and religious place Datia of Madhya Pradesh with the efforts of Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Dr Narottam Mishra.
A test flight of 8 seater plane of Prabhatam Aviation Company was conducted from Indore to Datia on Saturday.
Necessary arrangements at Datia air strip were made by the district administration for the test flight.


It may be mentioned that several important persons including President visit Datia by airplane to have ‘darshan’ of ‘Maa Pitambra’ and to attend other programmes. Citizens welcomed test flight on reaching Datia. Officers of Air Services Company and Pilot had darshan of ‘Maa Pitambra’.
Members of the flight crew were also honoured on the
occasion.


Citizens visiting major cities for medical treatment and other works besides people visiting Datia with the purpose of business, tourism and religious tours will be benefitted with the regular air service facility.


At the initial stage flight service from Bhopal to Datia and
vice versa will be provided twice a week.
At many times patients suffering from heart ailments and other diseases were airlifted from Datia air strip by air ambulances to New Delhi and Mumbai for medical treatment owing to non-availability of air service at
Jhansi of Uttar Pradesh located near Datia.
