RPF nabs 4 thieves from two trains

RAILWAY Protection Force (RPF) Jabalpur succeeded in apprehending four thieves from two trains and recovered seven wallets with Rs 1,080 and five stolen mobile handsets from them on Sunday. The accused have been identified as Mohammed Shahid (22), resident of Mandi Madar Tekri, Hanumantal, Mohammed Khurshid (25), son of Mohammed Sarfraj, resident of Nalband Mohalla, Hanumantal, Mohammed Sharif (24), son of Mohammed Harun, resident of Nalband Mohalla and Nitin Namdeo (24), son of Arun Namdeo, resident of Footatal in Belbagh.


SHO of RPF Jabalpur Station Virendra Singh informed that under direction of senior officers, RPF Jabalpur has started a special campaign against anti-social elements. During the campaign, RPF conducted a rigorous search in two trains 12853 Amarkantak Express and 19046 Tapti Ganga Express. During checking, RPF personnel succeeded in apprehending four accused red-handed, while stealing commodities and picking pockets of passengers. During search, GRP team recovered seven wallets with cash of Rs 1,080 and five stolen mobile handsets from the thieves. RPF Jabalpur handed over the accused to GRP Jabalpur for further investigations.
