‘Hariyali Teej’ held at Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence

‘Hariyali Teej’, under Van Mahotsava Samaroh, was organised recently at Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence, Lambakheda in the State capital.

Maharishi Vidya Mandir school group Chairman Brahmachari Girish, addressing on the occasion, said that, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has given great message to us all to live life according to rules of nature because in that situation, the entire nature helps us in achieving our aim in life.

Brahmachari Girish said that trees, shrubs and all fruit and flower-giving plants are important parts of the nature, so plantation of saplings on Hariyali Teej has a special importance. On this day, Lord Shiva has given ‘Vardan’ to keep the forest area green forever.

Madhya Pradesh State Forest Development Corporation Managing Director Ravi Shrivastava, addressing on the occasion, said that big forest areas are necessary for water conservation and continuous water flow in rivers and nullahs. Mass practice of transcendental meditation for awareness in the society was done on the occasion and as many as 1,000 saplings were planted by Sahasra Sheersha Devi Mandal officials and staff led by Brahmachari Girish on MCEE premises.
