Bike rally from Bhilai to Barnawapara wildlife sanctuary marks ‘World Tiger Day’

HIMALAYAN Explorers organised a bike rally from Bhilai to Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary to mark the seventh ‘World Tiger Day’ on Saturday here at Bhilai.

The rally was led by rider Sahrukh Kasad of Himalayan Explorers that comprised of three women riders also. The team comprising of 25 bikers from Robots Riders Bhilai started for Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary at around 8.00 am and returned back late in the evening.

This year’s International Tiger Day was celebrated with the slogan ‘Fresh Ecology for Tigers’ Protection’ and Himalayan Explorers the NGO from Nagpur is working for conversation of tigers and other animals have come down from Nagpur to Bhilai for making the people of Chhattisgarh aware of this day and also to promote tiger conversation.

AV Thakur President of Himalayan Explorer, along with Deputy Commandant, Dr VL Thakur also of Himalayan Explorers informed that the motive behind this rally is to promote Eco Tourism in state of Chhattisgarh along with saving the tiger that is in the verge of extinction.
