‘Buses should stop only at designated stops’

He said that the buses should not be stopped for more than the prescribed time. At the bus stops having Automatic Ticket Vending Machine (ATVM), the commuters of such stops should be asked to use the ATVM and commuters who have smart pass and ticket from ATVM should only be allowed to travel. Instructions should be given to bus driver, conductor and ticket checker to behave well with the passengers and to give tickets.


Time to time camps should be organised to give information regarding well planned bus conveyance to all the drivers and conductors.
Slogans like ‘You are under CCTV surveillance’ should be written near the CCTV cameras installed in buses and stickers of Swachh Bharat and Swachh Bhopal, raising awareness for cleanliness are to be pasted in the buses till August 5, 2017.

Instructions have been given to Messers Harman that non-functional and dysfunctional CCTV cameras in low floor buses should be checked and repaired before August 5 as inspection will follow post the given date and in case any camera is found to be dysfunctional, then strict action will follow.


All the BCLL officials have been instructed to accelerate the campaign of making Mahapaur Smart Pass. Camps should be organised in each private and Government educational institution, school, colleges, social and religious organisations by setting up contacts and encourage them to get Mahapaur Smart Pass. BCLL officials have also been directed to review all the instructions from time to time and to take action against the defaulter.


Director, BCLL, Kewal Mishra said, “I have issued directions to clearly write the call centre number inside the buses so that direct contact can be set up with the call centre. Stickers of ‘Swachh Bharat and Swachh Bhopal’ will also be pasted in buses, for which instructions have been given.”
