Rainfall activities come to a halt across Madhya Pradesh

Rainfall activities have declined all over Madhya Pradesh. On Sunday, Bhopal experienced cloudy weather conditions and it was during evening hours that a spell of light showers drenched the city. In last twenty-four hours, only few places have recorded rainfall.


The rainfall activities remained at their peak in many parts of State during last couple of days. Many places were battered by heavy rains, leading to flooding of rivers and nullahs. But from Sunday onwards, rainfall activities have come to a grinding halt in State. In last twenty-four hours, only few places received recordable rainfall and the names of these places are: Thandla (2 cm), Harsood, Nalcha, Maheshwar (1 cm each). Otherwise, there was no trace of rainfall in many places.


Weather Department forecast that rainfall activities have declined all over Madhya Pradesh. In the meantime, rains and light showers are likely in several places of Rewa, Sidhi, Singhrauli, Shahdol, Umaria, Katni, Anuppur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Agar, Rajgarh, Guna, Sheopur Kalan. Bhopal is going to have cloudy weather conditions and some places may get drenched by light showers.


As State has received good amount of rainfall in past few days, hence there is greenery all over the State. The waterfall and other scenic places are being visited by people in large number. It is during weekends when people prefer to visit such places along with people and friends. In Bhopal, Boat Club of Upper Lake has turned into an attraction point for nature-loving people. They were seen at the Boat Club along with family and friends enjoying the picturesque beauty of Upper Lake and enjoy the boat ride.
