As per information, two patients with symptoms of swine flu has been admitted in private hospital, both
of them are not from city, they have come from other state

With new patient admitted for symptoms of swine flu, in one of private Hospital in the city, District Health Department has guidelines to check the further spread of disease in city. As per information, two patients with symptoms of swine flu has been admitted in private hospital, both of them are not from city, they have come from other state. The blood sample has been sent to ICMR for final confirmation, report is still awaited.


Chief Medical and Health Officer informed that informed that with change in season rains for some time, then schoring sun for long time during span of 24 hours in day is favorable for the rapid multiplication of bacteria and virus. He said that fever, cold cough, pain in neck, headache, joint pain, sometime vomiting and dysentery is among the common symptoms of swine flu. If any person gets affected with such symptoms, then he should take consultation from the nearest qualified doctor, or Government Hospital, Medical College and Hospital, Government Community Health Care Center, Primary Health Care Center.

He said in case of any friend or neighbor is suffering from such symptoms, then guide him to take consultation from Doctor at nearest Government Hospital. As the doctors at the Government Hospital follows the protocol for the diagnosis, treatment of Swine flu, as per mentioned in the Government Books.


He further informed that screening center for swine flu has already been established at Government Hospitals for early detection of swine flu. Patients with symptoms of cough, sneezing should be immediately taken to Doctor for consultation, special attention should be given to pregnant women, children and patient suffering from the critical disease.

Nose and mouth should be properly covered, when you cough or sneeze to protect the spread of influenza, germs that cause respiratory illness. Hand should be wash more often, after every coughing and sneezing, alcohol swap should be used for cleaning, touching of nose, mouths should be avoided to protect the spread of germs, contact with already effected person should be avoided, ill person should remain stay at home from works said CMHO, Dr Agrawal.
