Saplings planted during drive should be protected on priority: CEO Rajput

“saplings planted during extensive plantation drive on July 2 should be protected on priority. Besides plantation drive should be continued. Under direction of Chairman Dr Vinod Mishra and with cooperation of officials and employees the plantation drive took a good start,” said Chief Executive Officer of Jabalpur Development Authority Nidhi Singh Rajput while addressing the meeting. JDA Chairman Dr Vinod Mishra said environmental health should be focused besides development. For this we have to continue plantation drive commenced on July 2.

For success of the drive we have to protect planted saplings. He directed scheme incharges to conduct inspection of plantation and to report its condition. They should replant saplings in places where plants were removed, damaged or dried due to weather condition. During review meeting, the Chairman further took progress report of different development works in JDA schemes. He directed technical staff that according to contract terms and conditions quality of construction should be maintained and to complete in time frame.

He added that in Madhya Pradesh from May 1, 2017, RERA registration is compulsory hence all the executive engineers should ensure registration under RERA and on any problem must report to headquarters.
