Fencing players meets Minister of Sports

Fencing players who brought laurels to Madhya Pradesh met Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Department Yashodhara Raje Scindia at TT Nagar stadium. Fencers bagged one gold, three silver and two bronze at National Junior Fencing Championship organised at Nasik Maharashtra.


At National Junior Fencing Championship, player Pooja Dangi won gold medal at EP event. Player Khushi Dabade, Nisha Taide and Tanisha Manlviya won silver medals respectively. Players Kanika Mishra and Pooja Dangi won bronze medals respectively showcasing a wonderful performance at the championship.The female fencing players left no stone unturned to put up a brilliant performance at National Junior Fencing Championship held at Nasik, Maharashtra. The players bagged six medals at the championship including one gold medal, three silver and two bronze medals.. The championship was held on June 25 till June 27.

On the success of the State players on national and international platform Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Department Yashodhara Raje Scindia expressed her deep contentment. She congratulated the players for the achievement and wished them luck for their future.She said that the female players of the State are no less than the male players. They equally participate in the championships and glorify the name of the State at each championship and bring laurels to the country . She also encouraged them to give same performance in other competitions as well and give their best at various competitions. She also asked them to play well in future events as well.
