SP asks security officials of malls to further tighten arrangements

Security is a major concern at various shopping malls across the city and the issued has to be address with seriousness, said SP Bhopal (South) Siddharth Bahuguna while discussing with the concerned security officials of malls across the city in a meeting with the security officials of malls on Thursday.
Strict and firm attitude would be required to handle the anti-social elements which would raise confidence among the visitors.

ASP Zone 2 Hitesh Choudhary assured the security officials of malls in the city that special drive against anti-social elements is going on and would continue. At time of the festivals Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team would vigil on frequent basis.

Instructions of increasing the number of CCTV cameras to maximum the coverage area to keep vigil and strengthening the security of the mall goers should be among the priorities were given by Choudhary.

Security official of Ashima Mall praised the dial 100 nodal point due to which the criminal and anti-social elements keep at bay. At the meeting 10 security officials participated in the meeting.

The parking arrangements should be made more effective for the convenience of the visitors. Public Addressing system should be used for communicating in better manner.

Police verification of all employee and officials working at mall should be done without fail. Maintenance of electricity supply system should be done on regular basis. Monitoring of fire fighting equipment should be done on regular basis and expiry date of equipment and cylinder should be checked.

Inflammable material should be banned carrying inside the mall and strict prohibition of carrying fire arms inside the mall should be checked by security guards. Man and woman security guards should be deployed for checking. For security monitoring should be done with metal detectors and active guard. Emergency plan should be made to deal emergency situations.
