Juvenile Home children pay visit to St Paul’s School

Juvenile Home children visited St. Paul Sr. Sec. Co-Ed School on Friday at 11 am. Social Action Club members along with the teacher in-charge Shibi Joseph took the initiative to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with Juvenile children in order to show their love, care and sympathy towards these children. They tied rakhi on the wrist of the Juvenile inmates and prayed for their longevity and prosperity. Fr. Anil Mathew highlighted the importance of this festival.

Paulines performed various cultural activities like dance, song, skit, storytelling etc. The Juvenile children were also given a chance to show their talents, followed by the sharing of tiffin by members of Social Action Club with juvenile inmates. The head of the Observation Home thanked the members of Social Action Club and appreciated their efforts to bring the juvenile delinquents back to the social mainstream to lead a better life. The programme concluded at 12:30 pm.
