GM of BoI visits Dharampeth branch

BANK of India (BoI), Dharampeth branch had a memorable day recently as G H Sarangi, General Manager visited the branch. The visit was a part of the banks campaign ‘Ghar Ghar Dastak’ dedicated to the well being of the customers by reaching out to them, to know their problems and solve them to the fullest satisfaction.


J C Shashiraj, Zonal Manager, Rakesh Kumar Garg, Assistant General Manager and other senior executives and employees gave a hearty floral welcome to Sarangi.


Sarangi in his presidential address congratulated all the employees for their hard work and dedicated efforts in the banks by recording 60 per cent growth in the June 2017 quarter, earning a profit of Rs 88 crore, after being in loss during the last two years. The bank through its consistent efforts has been able to reduce its non performing assets (NPAs) from 13.54 per cent to 13 per cent.
Sarangi exhorted employees to think innovatively and do something different every month rather than working in a routine manner at the banks.


He was also enthusiastic about the bank laying emphasis on education and training of its employees for which 100 modules have been devised and every employee will be required to go through the training schedule.


Sarangi also had discussions with the participating stakeholders and suggested ways to resolve their problems. Highlight of the programme was distribution of sanction letter of loans for certain applicants.
Garg and Shashiraj also addressed the participants of the programme.


Hari Ram, Chief Manager proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Girhe compered the programme. Madhav Limje, Rewatkar, Waghmare and all employees worked hard to make the programme a grand success.
