CAs should work with lot of passion, says Dr Vedprakash Mishra

“Chartered accountants have to play major role in the development of one of the fastest growing economies. In this era, when everyone wants to be successful, it is important to understand that the way towards achieving success is not easy. We should work with lot of passion and devotion and with our good work we will convert our signature into an autograph one day,” said Dr Vedprakash Mishra, Chancellor of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences. He was addressing at a programme organised to felicitate newly-qualified chartered accountants.

Dr Mishra continued that a successful life has 3 Ps i.e. Power, Potential and Prestige. For achieving this success 3 Cs are very important i.e. Courage, Conviction and Character. “It is important that we should have faith in ourselves,” he said. “We all are unique and have something special within and should always have faith in self capacity. We should also realize that the profession which gives us an identity also demands and expects something in return from us,” Dr Mishra noted.

“We have to commit with ourselves to maintain the dignity of the profession and also should put in best of our efforts to take the name to newer heights. We all are gifted with various talents and its only we who can convert this talent into an ability,” he pointed out.

Earlier, Regional Council Member CA Abhijit Kelkar mentioned that Chartered Accountancy profession is one of the best courses which can be pursued with least cost. “The way CAs are trained, makes them one of the best and highly paid professionals across the country,” he said. He congratulated all the newly-qualified chartered accountants and assured them all possible support at the WIRC level. Chairman of Nagpur Branch CA Sandeep Jotwani in his welcome address said, “Becoming a successful CA is a journey and becoming a CA is an important milestone in achieving our destination. After becoming CA, we have so many options to choose. We should think and understand the options and choose with a long term vision.”

He congratulated the newly-qualified CAs as well as the parents who play a major role in this journey to become a chartered accountant. “CAs clear one of the toughest examinations in the country and can prove their capabilities in any area which they choose,” he said.
