Ratibad police have arrested eight persons, including ex-armyman, on Wednesday involved in thrashing two brothers over property related dispute and vandalising their office in Neelbad on Tuesday. The police had also seized Armyman’s service revolver from which they open gunshot on air during the incident.

ASP Zone-1 Dharamveer Singh Yadav while addressing mediapersons on Wednesday said that those arrested were identified as Rakesh Arya (50), a resident of Pooja Colony in Neelbad, Rahul Arya (34) of Delhi, Anil Uike (25) of Neelbad, Sonu Kewat (23), Choteram Maran (32), Satish Valmeek (29), Dinesh Katare (23) and Suresh Sapera (35), all hail from Sadar. Rakesh Arya is a property dealer and a retired armyman.

On Tuesday morning, the main accused, Rakesh Arya and Rahul Arya along with 10-12 accomplices reached at their tenant Ramesh Shrivas (30) house at Prempura Bhadbhada who is a government contractor and threw their goods out of office and also fire rounds in the air.
Ramesh’s office is located on the ground floor while his brothers Rameshwar and Suresh reside on the first floor of the house.

Rakesh along with his wife and around two dozen persons reached Ramesh’s house. They started vandalising the office. Rameshwar and Suresh were present in the office and when they resisted the accused assaulted them. Rakesh fired some rounds in the air to create fear. Later, they abducted both Rameshwar and Suresh and took them to his house. Police reached his house and got them released.
