Fr Agnel School organises Investiture Day Ceremony

Fr Agnel Co-Ed Senior Secondary School organised Investiture Ceremony on Wednesday. The school was honoured to have Captain Suryakant Babu Redekar, a stalwart from the Indian Navy, currently heading quality assurance organization for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh as the chief guest of the programme.


Captain Redekar, the Chief Guest, Fr. Allan Noronha s.f.x. School Manager, Fr. Kishore Soren s.f.x., Principal of Prakash Vidhyalaya, Fr. Valerian Gracias s.f.x. Parish Priest and Sojan Joseph, Principal of Fr. Agnel Co-Ed Senior Secondary School were escorted by the School band to the Hall.


The premises were filled with the spirit of Agnelites to the call of the bugle as all present gave a standing ovation to the dignitaries. Ishma, student of Class X introduced the Chief Guest.


The school choir sang a beautiful heart touching song and warmly welcomed everyone as two tiny tots presented roses to the entire guest during the interlude of the song. The Swearing in ceremony was presided over by the Fr.

Allan Noronha s.f.x and handed over responsibility to the newly elected Cabinet through Captain Redekar who administered the oath of office to the Head Boy Abhishek Pareek and Head Girl Simran Dubey of the school who in turn administered it to the team of ministers. Thereafter each Cabinet Minister did the same to the ministers of various departments. To seek God’s blessing on them a meaningful prayer was conducted followed by a prayer dance. A skit based on the leadership qualities was enacted highlighting the importance of leadership and humanity. Vote of thanks was proposed by the head boy and head girl. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
