Staff Reporter,

The effect of advice given by BJP’s National President Amit Shah during his recent tour of State capital was palpable in the BJP MLA squad meeting held at CM house on Monday.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan asked party MLAs to concentrate on their respective constituencies, implement programmes of party in effective manner, constitute teams at booth level, ensure management till assembly level, etc. The crux of entire exercise was to focus on preparations of coming Assembly elections 2018.

A senior BJP MLA, while talking to “The Hitavada”, said that various tips were given by CM to party MLAs and it was just the follow-up of the things told by Amit Shah during his three-day tour. MLAs have been asked to focus on micro to macro level management exercise in their constituencies. For instance, they have been asked to form five-member committee at booth level and later on, at Mandal level. They were asked to do extensive tours in their respective constituencies as was told by Amit Shah during his visit to Bhopal.

Another BJP MLA told that mainly MLAs were asked to do separate arrangements for booth level, block level and assembly level so that party could become strong further. Likewise, various programmes have been given to MLAs for the expansion of party in State. Overall, the meeting addressed all the points marked by Amit Shah. However, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had given the indication that one to one meeting of MLAs could be called on September 10 in which MLAs have to present their performance report card. Whatever shortcomings are of MLAs, they would be told to them in the one to one meeting.

CM may do one to one meeting (of MLAs) in the company of BJP State Organisation General Secretary Suhash Bhagat and BJP State President Nandkumar Singh Chouhan. In one to one meeting, MLAs might be asked to pep up and improve their performance. Apart from CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP State President Nandkumar Singh Chouhan and BJP State Organisation General Secretary Suhash Bhagat were also present in the meeting.
