MPPKVVL MD disappointed over rising irregularities in billings

MADHYA Pradesh Poorva Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Limited (MPPKVVL), Managing Director, Mukesh Chand Gupta called an emergency meeting of officers and expressed his disappointment over irregularities in electricity billings. He took a serious note on large number of complaints being received from consumers and said that any kind of irregularities in consumers’ services will not be tolerated as it is badly hampering the company’s image.

MD M C Gupta expressed disappointment over working of private company and directed its representatives to improve working within 15 days for perfect metre reading and spot billing. He said that in order to provide better services to consumers, employees of power distribution company will temporarily render their services. He instructed officers to provide him daily report of photo based metre reading and spot billing.

Head of private company Abhishek Yadav assured senior officers to improve working and giving better results of photo based metre reading and billing system and making necessary amendments in billing software. On the occasion, Chief General Manager Ajay Sharma, G P Singh, Vipin Dhagat, Chief Engineer, Jabalpur Area, A K Pandey, Superintending Engineer, Jabalpur City, I K Tripathi and representatives of private company were present.
