5 auto rickshaw drivers face action for improper parking

Gole Bazar police has taken action against five auto rickshaw drivers for obstructing public way by parking their vehicles on the road side and at prohibitory areas despite repeated advice given to them by the on duty traffic police on Thursday.

As per information received from Gole Bazar police during a drive launched against vehicles found obstructing public way five auto rickshaws were seized from Jai Stambh Chowk. The vehicle (CG04-LH/5394) driver Mithilesh Yadav (21), a resident of Azad Chowk was arrested. Vehicle (CG04-M/5136) driver Kailash Kamde (32), a resident of Ganpat Chowk, Hirapur, (CG04-KY/4423) driver Deepak Dewangan (30), a resident of Murrabhatthi Gudhiyari, (CG04-T/2475) driver Abdul Hafiz (50), a resident of Idgaahbhata, CG04-LF/7136 driver Sheikh Nizam (28), a resident of Nehru Nagar were arrested under Section 283 of IPC.

It may be recalled that due to improper parking of auto rickshaws on the road side traffic is adversely affected in city. Traffic department time to time issues guidelines regarding parking of vehicles which are not followed by most of the Auto rickshaw drivers in city.
