CSIT, COE Pune sign MoU for jointly upgrading technical education

Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of Technology (CSIT), an established and renowned technical institute of Chhattisgarh and College of Engineering (COE) Pune signed an MoU for jointly upgrading technical education process and enhance academic quality of faculty members, employees and students. For this, exchange programme will be organized for faculty members and students.

The MoU was signed in Pune by CSIT Chairman Ajay Prakash Verma and COE Director Dr. Bharatkumar Bhagatraj Ahuja. This MoU will be valid for next three years. COE’s Deputy Director Professor BN Choudhary, Dean Academic Professor Mukul Sataune, Corporator Relation Officer Dr. Sandeep Meshram, other faculty members and invited dignitaries were present in the programme. CSIT Chairman termed MoU a significant achievement and said CSIT will set new dimensions in higher technical education.

Under MoU for one semester or full year there will be student exchange program. Under MoU for one semester or full year under faculty exchange program subject matter specialists can be exchanged by both the Colleges. M. Tech and PhD.
Students of COE and CSIT can select guide on the basis of ability and experience of faculty members of either institutions. Both Colleges will cooperate mutually for laboratories, research centres and academics. Both institutions will cooperate in training of faculty members and staff. Infrastructure and laboratories can be utilized and through e-library magasenes and informations can be exchanged, hardware and software will be developed.

Director Dr. Anurag Verma expressing pleasure said the MoU will prove to be a milestone for students and faculty members. Pune being citadel of national and international software
companies, renowned heavy industries CSITians will get better placement opportunities and high level technical education.
