Sampatiya Uike takes oath in Rajya Sabha

State Secretary of the BJP and President of District Panchayat Mandla, Sampaitya Uike took oath as Member of Rajya Sabha.
It may be mentioned that due to sudden death of former Union Environment State Minister, Late Madhav Davem the Rajya Sabha member seat was vacant. For it, by-election was conducted in which State Secretary of BJP and President of District Panchayat Mandla, Sampaitya Uike was elected unopposed. Sampatiya Uike took oath as Member of Rajya Sabha here on Friday. Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Vice President, Hameed Ansari administrated her oath.


Uike is well known tribal women leader and her tenure till year 2022. She has been selected by BJP for the post in view of 2018 Vidhan Sabha election to gain tribal votes. Along with this BJP would gain its benefits in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. After taking oath as Member of Rajya Sabha, Uike interact with media person and she firstly extended her gratitude to National level leaders of Bharatiya Janta Party, State leadersm people of Madhya Pradesh and Mandla area. She said that she is providing her services for welfare of people and now also as Member of Rajya Sabha also would extend her services for welfare of people.
