N H Goel students awarded at International event

The students of N H Goel World School, Raipur brought laurels to their school, city, state and the nation by participating in International Exhibition for Young Innovative Inventors, held at the Institute of Innovation and Inventors, Nagoya, Japan from July 26 to 31.  They represented their school in the junior as well as the senior categories. More than 150 Inventors from 25 countries participated in this innovative exhibition.

The students of N H Goel received two special awards with gold medals and appreciation certificates for Best Work for solving the social problems prevalent in society.The name of project for Junior Group was “Utilisation of waste flowers from temples and other places from our surroundings”.  In this project the students collected the actual data from the many temples and banquet halls in Raipurand gave the best solution to disposal of the used flowers by making compost, dyes, mosquito repellent and pesticides by themselves.

The project for the senior group project was “Reverse declining of House Sparrows from our surroundings”. They also collected the data from Rural, Urban and Semi Urban areas about the numbers of sparrows living and gave the best solution to conserve them in our surroundings by providing themshelter & foodin the prevailing climatic conditions. They also made and hung many artificial nests & automatically dispensing bird feeders with food grains in different localities.

The names of junior group are Ambrish Goenka (Class VIIA), Sambhava Bothra (Class IXA) and Devanshi Patel (Class IX B). Senior Group are Anjali Sundrani, (Class XI E), and Vicky Gupta (Class XI F). Mentor was M N Singh (Science Teacher). School Managing Director Rajendra Goel, Director Kalpana Chaudhary, Principal Dr M V Krishnamachari and CAO S K Tomar felicitated the students in the assembly and gave their blessings.
