The Bhopal IT Park developed by Madhya Pradesh State Electronic Corporation (MPSEDC) has started to attract the companies in bunch and even some companies have also started their operations. However, many companies are facing hurdle in getting timely approval from Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) for their construction activities. These companies are also demanding that Bhopal should have direct flights to southern cities of country as there also they have their business operations.

“As many as 54 companies have deposited money for land at IT Park and many of them have applied to get map from BMC for their construction activities. These companies are alleging that getting approval for map from BMC is a cumbersome and time consuming exercise. They want that MPSEDC should provide single window system to them for getting map approval as this thing will not only save their time but also help them in executing their plans in faster manner,” said a senior officer of MPSEDC.

On the other hand, investing companies are demanding direct flight from Bhopal to southern cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Thiruvanantpuram etc as many of them also have ventures in southern parts of country. Direct flight from Bhopal to southern cities of country will help them in great manner in expanding their business plans.

Its business venture will give job to scores of local youths of Bhopal. Likewise another company has plan to invest 25 crore.
