SECR’s ‘Sanitation Fortnight’ concludes

The South East Central Railway (SECR) analysed the sanitation works done in past 15 days as a part of the ‘Sanitation Fortnight’ on the final day of the event. The sanitation fortnight was held throughout the nation from August 16 to 31, 2017.


The review was conducted by Division Railway Manager Rahul Gautam accompanied by senior officers Additional Division Railway Manager AK Meshram, Chief Medical Superintendent B Chakravarty and Senior Division Commerce Manager R Sudarsan.

The Senior Division Commerce Manager gave a slide presentation on the awareness works done during the fortnight. Rahul Gautam admired the Railway employees’ hard work and the passion with which they took part in the campaign. Feedbacks were also collected from the public at the same time. Now, we just need to uphold the same mindset.

Additional Railway Manager AK Meshram congratulated the employees and encouraged them to continue the efforts rather than just limiting it to fortnight. The officials also rewarded the best performing employees on the occasion. As many as 6 unit in-charges including 39 personal prizes were bestowed. Street play team and Scout & Guides were also felicitated for their work. Senior Personnel Officer Darshanita B Ahluwalia presented booklet to scouts & guides cadets.
