Minister Shukla takes students to White Tiger Safari

Commerce, Industry, Employment and Mineral Resource Minister Rajendra Shukla on Saturday took students of Government Higher Secondary School, Rewa on an outing to Maharaja Martand Singh White Tiger Safari and Zoo. Students enjoyed watching the tiger and other wild animals.


Talking to the students, Shukla said that Rewa is known all over the world for its White Tiger. Now our heritage and identity has returned to us. The Industry Minister said that the students were brought on a visit to the zoo so that today’s generation gains knowledge about the history of Vindhya and Rewa. The White Tiger Safari has been set up with this purpose.


The students saw the White Tiger, Bear, Yellow Tiger and several other wild animals in the company of the Industry Minister and enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Shukla had promised to take the students to Tiger Safari during the recent “Mil Banche” programme. The students went for the safari in two buses.


The Industry Minister dedicated a souvenir shop in the White Tiger Safari. Bamboo products manufactured by Self-Help Group Bamboo Craft Sonoura registered in M.P State Bamboo Mission under Banshi Emporium, Mukundpur will be available for sale at the shop. Industry Minister Shukla said that tourists will be able to purchase the bamboo products thus becoming a source of earning for self-help-group. Shukla dedicated the Mukundpur forest rest house also.
