Togadia launches India Health Line

“ALMOST every individual is going through a phase of mental stress in life. Cases related to cancer and diabetes are on the rise. Ultimately, the entire family suffers financially and physically. India Health Line has come up with a resolution of ‘Swasth Bharat Sukhmay Bharat’ (Healthy India Prosperous India),” said International Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Pravin Togadia, while inaugurating training programme of ‘Health Ambassador’ at Samanvay Seva Kendra on Sunday. He said a whopping amount of Rs 14 lakh crore is spent on health sector for treatment of 45 crore people in India, India Health Line (IHL) will help minimise the amount spent on treatment with early diagnosis of diseases like cancer, diabetes etc.


Addressing the occasion, Dr Jitendra Jamdar enlightened achievements of Dr Togadia. As a cancer surgeon he has performed more than 10,000 surgeries. He sensitised Hindu community people to stay united. He was been nominated as VHP General Secretary in 1998.

He said during the day-long training programme, Health Ambassador are given training for primary health check-up like measuring blood pressure, sugar-level, obesity and haemoglobin level of patients, so that they could extend their participation in fulfillment of objectives of the organisation, he added. IHL focuses on preventing people from diseases like obesity, anaemia, diabetes, most common these days.


Aim of IHL is for Healthy India and Prosperous India. A healthy person becomes an integral part of nation, who is on path of development. As many as 10,000 specialists and super specialist doctors have already joined and assured to give their voluntary consultation for free consultation camps.


IHL organises health 4u health check-up, where trained health ambassadors who do not belong to medical stream conduct primary examination of patients related to anaemia, diabetes, obesity, blood sugar, blood pressure.


Swami Akhileshwaranand, Dr Kailash Gupta, Prashant Singh, Vice-Chancellor, MPMSU, Dr R S Sharma, Dean, Dr Naveet Saxena, Dr Jairam Tiwari, Dr Ashwin Trivedi and others were present on the occasion.
