BJYM’s Khelega MP-Khelega Bharat today

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) received overwhelming response to its new programme Khelega Madhya Pradesh-Khelega Bharat. So far, sports competitions have been organised under three phases and in fourth phase, state-level sports competition will be organised at TT Nagar Stadium of Bhopal on Tuesday.


Informing about the aforesaid things, State President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Abhilash Pandey said under ‘Khelo Bharat Abhiyan’ BJYM started ‘Madhya Pradesh Khelega Abhiyan’. The motive of campaign is to promote Indian rural sports and to connect youths with rural regions and Indian culture.


Five sports vis kho-kho kabaddi malkhamb wrestling and tug of war were included in the campaign that started in August. In first phase of campaign, sports competition was organised at Panchayat and ward level from August 1 to August 10. In second phase i.e. from August 11 to 15, sports activities were organised at Mandal level. In third phase, teams which have won in districts played at divisional level. Now, the teams which have won in divisional level will play in state level competition to be organised at TT Nagar Stadium on Tuesday. The state-level sports competition will commence in presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP State President Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, BJP State Organisation General Secretary Suhash Bhagat etc. Next month, BJYM will work on organisation expansion work.

All post holders of organisation will remain on tour for seven days and will conduct meetings from ward level till panchayat level. Along with this, BJYM will organise Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay general knowledge competition shortly till panchayat level. Students from class 8 till class 12 can participate in it and in colleges, students from first year till final year can take part in it. To help students in preparations, organisation workers booklet prepared in the name of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. More interestingly, people from as many as 40 countries will also participate in this competition through on line. Target is to reach till 25 to 30 lakh youths.
