Bawankule reviews preparations for ensuing visit of President

GUARDIAN Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Monday reviewed the preparations for ensuing visit of President of India Ram Nath Kovind on September 22. President Kovind is scheduled to inaugurate Suresh Bhat Memorial Auditorium at Reshimbag and will also inaugurate meditation centre at Dragon Palace, Kamptee and also visit historic Deekshabhoomi.

This will be maiden visit of new PresidenttoNagpur. Governorof Maharashtra C Vidyasagar Rao, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will accompany the President. The meeting was attended by District Collector Sachin Kurve, NationalMinoritiesCommission member Sulekha Kumbhare, Additional CP Shamrao Dighaokar,DCP(SpecialBranch) Nilesh Bharne, DCP Ravindra Pardesi, MSEDCL CE R G Shekh, SDO Shirish Pande, Avinash Katade, PWD SE Prashant Navghare, Avinash Ghushe and other senior officers. Bawankule instructedtheofficials to ensure arrangement at Kampteewhere Presidentis slatedtoinauguratemeditationcentre at Dragonn Palace. Sulekha Kumbhare also briefedthemeetingabouttheprogramme.

District CollectorSachinKurve informed about the preparations made by districtadministrationanddirected all departments to ensure proper co-ordination and completion of pending infra works before the visit. NMC administration is also gearing up to welcome President of India.
