Work to attract people towards Jan Aushadhi Kendra: Mandavia

Union Minster of State for Road Transport, Shipping, Chemical and Fertiliser, Mansukh Lal Mandavia said ‘Jan Aushadhi Kendra’ stores are being opened across the country to provide cheap generic medicines to people. As many as 2,200 centres have been opened by private persons.
Mansukh Lal Mandavia was addressing BJP workers at party headquarters in State capital on Tuesday. He said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had taken interest in this scheme.

He asked BJP workers to attract people towards Jan Aushadhi Kendra’s as Jan Aushadhi are good than branded medicines and are cheaper as far as rates are concerned. Generally, 600 types of medicines are available at Jan Aushadi Kendra’s and out of them rates of 150 medicines are only 15 per cent of market prices.

By opening Jan Aushadi Kendra, one can serve two purpose, firstly he will be serving the ailing humans by providing cheaper medicines and secondly they will be also able to do small business.

He also added that by seeing the importance of urea in agriculture, Modi government stopped the misuse of urea by getting it ‘Neem Coated’. Before Modi government, distribution of urea often used to become law and order problem but now it is a common process. The rates of urea were reduced to provide benefit to farmers.

He also reckoned the achievement of Modi government in strengthening road sector. When he reached BJP headquarters, he was welcomed by BJP State General Secretary Vishnu Dutt Sharma, office Secretary Satyendra Bhushan Singh etc.
