‘CAs should remember their duties towards society’

ICAI, Nagpur branch and WICASA, Nagpur Branch hosted a musical evening ‘Ek Shaam Desh Ke Naam’ to salute the invaluable efforts of the Indian Army and Police Force. The event was organised at ICAI Bhawan, Dhantoli. Amid the patriotic celebrations, members and students had an opportunity to interact with the guardians of nation, Army Major Ratandeep Singh and Sambhaji Kadam, DCP, Crime Branch, Nagpur who were present on the occasion. ICAI, Nagpur Branch felicitated the officers for their extra ordinary contribution to the country.


In his introductory remarks, CA Sandeep Jotwani, Chairman of Nagpur Branch of ICAI expressed his gratitude towards the undying endeavour of the Army Force and Police Force for safeguarding the country in all circumstances. He also stressed the importance of discipline in one’s life and co-related the efforts to be put in by every Indian for the growth of nation. “We must always remember the efforts and pain our forces in protecting our rights and freedom. But we should always remember our duties towards our society as well as our country so that every citizen should be vigilant and should abide by the rules and regulations.”


CA Julfesh Shah, Member of the PR & CSR Committee of ICAI appreciated the efforts of Nagpur Branch. He said, the programme is being organised to appreciate and recognise the efforts of the guardians of nation. He mentioned that every citizen respects and recognise the efforts of guardians who are the real hero’s of country. “Every citizen of this country are indebted to this contribution for which we all salute our heros,” he said.


CA Saket Bagdia, Chairman of Nagpur Branch of WICASA urged the students to draw virtues of discipline and selflessness from the heroes of nation. WICASA committee members Devashish Mahadule and Gurbani Kaur Bhasin compered the programme Secretary of Branch CA Suren Duragkar proposed the vote of thanks.


CA V K Surana also spoke on the occasion. Prominently present were CA Umang Agrawal, CA Suren Duragkar, CA Kirit Kalyani, CA Sanjay Agrawal, CA Swapnil Ghate, Pulkit Jhawar, Nazia Haq, Pooja Zade and others.
