Mortal remains of Ashutosh Mishra to reach Raipur today

Ashutosh Mishra, a 1985 batch IFS officer and Director, Culture in Government of Chhattisgarh died of Swine Flu at Apollo Hospital in Delhi. Mishra was airlifted to Delhi on August 28 after his condition deteriorated while in treatment at Raipur. He breathed his last on Wednesday. Sources informed that due to formalities his body could not be brought to Raipur on Wednesday and the body will now be flown in on Thursday morning by Air India flight.

The body will be cremated at Devendra Nagar Muktidham on Thursday at 11 am. The final journey will leave from his residence at Mowa. After news of his death reached Raipur his colleagues in the bureaucracy was shocked and grief stricken. Another IFS officer Alok Katiyar who was camping in Delhi was immediately send to the hospital to stand by the grieving family members of Mishra.

Ashutosh had worked as DFO in Raigarh and Mahasamund. He was Addl. CEO in CHiPS. Ashutosh Mishra was the son of Dr. Vinnay Mishra, Bilaspur and Younger brother of Avinash Mishra, Advocate in Bilaspur. He has a son Shobhit Mishra and daughter Shubhangi Mishra.
