Wins two gold medals in skeet event at All India G V Mavlankar Shooting Championship

Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy shooter Parvati Kumari won two gold medals in skeet event at All India G V Mavlankar Shooting Championship. She registered victory in junior and senior categories of skeet event. All India G V Mavlankar Shooting Championship is being held at Patiyala in Motibagh Gun Club Stadium.


Championship concluded on September 28. Earlier, Madhya Pradesh shooters Gubbu Shankar and Muskan Kahar won medals at this championship. In the championship Gubbu Shankar won gold medal at trap event in junior and senior categories event respectively. Like this in trap women event Academy player Muskan Kahar won bronze medal. In this championship total eight players from the MP Shooting Academy participated. Chief Coach Mansher Singh and Hemraj Rana gave training to the players. All India G V Mavlankar Shooting Championship was being organised from September 21 to 28 in Punjab. The championship was hosted by Punjab Rifle Shooting Association at NMBCC Shooting Stadium.


Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Department Yashodhara Raje Scindia congratulated the shooters for their performance and extended her best wishes for good performance at national championship. Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Department Upendra Jain also wished the players for their brilliant performance. To provide the players with better facilities on an international level, the Sports and Youth Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh has been working in this vision. Based in international standards the academy comprises on three shooting ranges of 10 meters, 25 meters and 50 meters along with a twin sheet of trap and skeet ranges.
