Social organisation alleges anomaly in NEET counselling

Alleging irregularities in NEET National Eligibility Entrance Test ( NEET)counselling social organization Vichar Madhya Pradesh has claimed that students in Madhya Pradesh are getting suffered . The organizations which consists of eminent RTI activists from State is also geared up to constitute four member monitoring committee. The monitoring committee will include Retired Additional DGP Vijay Vate ,Ex MLA Girija Shankar Sharma , Ex MLA Paras Saklecha and Retired Additional PCCF Azad Singh Dabas are included .

Anomaly in figures mentioned in NEET counseling is adversely affecting the students in MP . In total 13 seats were lapsed due to lenient attitude of authorities. said Vichar Madhya Pradesh Core Committee member Akshay Hunka .
At a press conference he said that in DME , Madhya Pradesh website on August 30 information have been displayed and information about seat distribution all colleges is given .in State quota only 691 seats are mentioned but in actual it should be 698 seats as per the pre defined system of quota distribution .

It has to be noted that last year as well there was chaos witnessed during counseling for admission to the MBBS course through the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) has spurred social activists as well as Vyapam whistle-blowers to demand a bill safeguarding the interests of candidates from Madhya Pradesh.They have demanded that the rights of local students be protected as far as admissions to government and private medical colleges in the state are concerned. They demanded reservation of seats for domicile candidates, as is the case with other states. They have demanded that Students from other states should be granted admission in medical colleges only under the all-India quota.
