Traffic diverted today

Traffic will remain diverted in State capital on Vijayadashmi festival on Saturday. Entry of heavy vehicles will be prohibited on all major roads of the city.

Traffic police said effigies of Ravana will be burnt at all main places of city, including Cholla Road, TT Nagar, Bittan Market, BHEL, MVM College Ground, Shahpura, Ashoka Garden, Kolar, Jamburi Ground, Bairagarh, Khushilal Ayurvedic College ground etc. Hence, for safety issue, traffic will remain diverted. As per the traffic diversion plan, after 5 pm, entry of heavy vehicles will be banned at all identified roads. The entry of heavy vehicles into city from Khajuri by pass, Mubarakpur square, new by pass Lambakheda, Sukhisevania by pass, Patel Nagar, Bhanpur, Karondh square, Lal Ghati, Prabhat Petrol square, Subhash Nagar Phatak, Zinsi square, Habibganj Naka, Suraj Nagar, Misrod, 11 mile will remain prohibited. Likewise, Dussehra Chal Samaroh will start from Bake Bihari Mandir (Marbadi road) and pass through Chintaman square, Unani Safakhana, Sultania road, Chawki Chawk, Ghoda Nakkas, Bus Stand, Chola road, Agrawal Dharmshala before its culmination at Chola Dushaira ground. When Chal Samaroh will reach bus stand, vehicles will not be allowed to go towards bus stand from Bhopal talkies road and Alpana square.

Separate parking arrangement has been made for vehicles at Chola Dussehra maidan. Likewise, traffic will remain diverted at all other places where Ravana effigy will be burnt. Likewise, on starting of Tajia procession, vehicles going towards Imambada and Peergate will be diverted on VIP road. The entry of vehicles between Bhopal talkies and Chawki Imambada and Jumerati from Bus Stand will be banned from 7 am till 3 pm.
