‘Patwaris are face of Revenue Department’

District Collector Naresh Pal said that Patwaris are important links in execution of revenue works. Due to good works of Patwaris, image of the Revenue Department is heightened among general public. He directed that special works and schemes of revenue department should be executed properly and officers, employees should discharge their responsibility with sincerity.
He expressed these views at the training programem held for Patwaris at Town Hall.


On the occasion, Incharge Officer (revenue) Suresh Aggarwal, SDM Balveer Raman, Tehsildar BK Mishra, Superintendent, Land Records Govind Soni, Assistant Superintendent, Land Records Laxmi Verma and other officers were present.


Collector Naresh Pal that due to cooperation of Patwaris in bringing non loanee farmers under insurance cover, Satna district has secured first prize all over state. Those Patwari who have shown credible performance in this work, would be honoured in Republic Day function..


Collector Naresh Pal directed that pending cases of undisputed nomination, mutation and partition, should be resolved within set time limit. If after three months any person would give information about any pending undisputed partition, mutation cases then cash reward of Rs 1 lakh would be given and this amount would be recovered from the erring officers, employees. On the instructions of state government, certified copy of B-1 and khasra is being distributed in district among farmers. Patwari should ensure that all farmers get the copies free-of-cost.


Collector further said that 80 percent Patwari comes from rural areas . Patwari should be sensitive towards farmers and should complete the revenue related works of farmers with sincerity. They should also be alert in revenue related cases registered in CM Helpline and should extend help to L-1 officers .


In accordance with the target allotted by state government, more revenue recovery should be done. On the occasion, NIC Engineer Manohar Kumar informed in detail about new software for ‘khasra’ update. This new version of software is user friendly and Patwari can operate it very easily.
