Humidity increases as rains take backseat

Humidity level has increased across Madhya Pradesh as rainfall activities have come to a grinding halt. The weather conditions are mostly dry in state and only few places have recorded light to moderate rainfall. People are praying for some more rains in remaining period of monsoon. This is also after the long gap that none of the dams of state is having water till its full tank level.

It was a bright day in Bhopal on Tuesday. The sky was largely clear. As rains have taken the back seat in state capital hence increased humidity level haunted people throughout the day. Rains have been uneven and deficient in Bhopal in this monsoon season. The effect of deficient rainfall is also palpable on water bodies like upper lake and Kolar dam. They are not having water to their upper limit. Large number of regions of state is having the same kind of saga. They all are facing deficient rainfall.

Weather department said in last twenty four hours it had rained in few places and rest places of state remained dry. Morena recorded rainfall of 5 cm, Mhou, Burhanpur, Hoshangabad (2 cm each), Pusphrajgarh, Budhni and Bichcia (1 cm each) respectively.

Rainfall and light showers are likely in some places of Hoshangabad division and districts including Chindwada, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Anuppur, Dindori. Light shower and lightening activities are likely in remaining regions of state.
Those who were hoping for fresh spell of rains in following days could be saddened to know that weather conditions are going to remain same for next two days. Bhopal is going to witness cloudy weather condition and there are chances of light rainfall activity in city. Now, hopes of people are hinging on future rains and everyone is praying for good rainfall in remaining period of monsoon season.
