BSSS students plant sapling under ‘Green Footprint’

To spread awareness towards environmental well being Department of Education, Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) organised “Green Footprint” program for the students on Wednesday. Under the event heads of the programme, students made artistic paintings on the clay pots and then sowed seeds in them. Prof -In- Charge, Damandeep Gulati said that this is an effort to make the aspiring teachers realize the importance of nature and the positive role of the same in our lives.

Principal Father John PJ reiterated the pertinent issue of environmental pollution and how modern society needs to adhere to eco-friendly means to save our environment. This would be the biggest need of human society to become more humane in our approach towards nature. 

 Professor Sheena Thomas, Head of the Department of Education emphasised on the need of green footprints to control and curb environmental pollution. The occasion was also marked with the hand crafted green bands which all the students wore as a symbol of revived zeal to save the planet. The events witnessed gathering all staff of BSSS and culminated fruitfully with a positive note and a promise for future.
