RDU student Ambika selected for Intl Youth Exchange Programme

Ambika Diwedi, an outstanding student of Rani Durgawati University (RDU) and Cadet of National Service Scheme (NSS), got selected in International Youth Exchange Programme as Indian Ambassador from Independent Unit NSS. She got selected for International Youth Exchange Programme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

Ambika Diwedi is one amongst three people selected from India and only one from Madhya Pradesh. Independent Unit NSS, Programme Officer Dr Devanshu Gautam informed that the programme will be organised in Palestine, Southern Asia from September 14 to 23. In this programme, higher officials of both the countries and students will share culture and ideas between both the nations.

At international ties amongst duo countries and future plans will be discussed amongst top brass of both the nations. On the basis of outstanding performance of Diwedi in cultural and literary programmes the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has awarded her this opportunity. In previous session, she was selected from NSS for Republic Day Parade and attended parade representing Madhya Pradesh. As left marker she represented the entire national NSS team.

Ambika will leave for New Delhi from Jabalpur on September 12. In New Delhi, she will be given one day training on foreign language, culture and rules by experts. Thereafter, she will leave along with other Indian ambassadors for foreign trip. On September 23, she will return to New Delhi and on September 25 she will return to Jabalpur.

Ambika is daughter of Ram Pal and Kanchan Diwedi. She attributed her success to her parents and teachers. On her selection to represent India in international programme on foreign land, Programme Officer NSS Open Unit Dr Devanshu Gautam, District Coordinator, Dr Anand Singh Rana, Programme Coordinator, Dr Ashok Kumar Sarathe, volunteer, Arvind Lodhi, Subedu Manna, Roshan Prajapati, Prateek Jain, Suyash Shrivas, Amit Shivhare, Mukesh Diwedi, Mohd Shahwaj, Samiksha Mishra and others have congratulated Ambika Diwedi.
