774 recruits pass out as CISF personnel from RTC

PASSING-OUT parade was a grand occasion at Recruitment and Training Center (RTC) of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Utai, Durg on Sunday. Ramsewak Paikra, Minister for Home, Jail and Public Health Engineering graced the occasion as Chief Guest. While addressing the assembled trainees, Minister, Ramsewak Paikra said that he was highly impressed with the immaculate performance presented trainees and splendid demonstrations of disciplined parade. He urged newly inducted trainees to constantly upgrade themselves to improve their capabilities to meet out the challenges ahead and serve the nation with full commitment. He also presented the prizes to best performers.

The passing out parade of 77th Batch of CT/GD Basic course at RTC Bhilai concluded after 39 weeks of rigorous training on Sunday amid a splendid display of parade and spirited demonstrations like Parkour, Malkhambh etc. All the the dignitaries and visitors were full of praise regarding the demonstration and performance by the participants of the passing out parade. As many as 774 recruits passed the portals of prestigious RTC Bhilai.

In the welcome address and course report N G Gupta, Principal and DIG RTC Bhilai stated that the passed out recruits are from all over the country (26 states including union territories) representing all caste, creed, region and religion. Presently, CISF is deployed in 339 installations including Airports, Sea Ports, Metro, VIP security, Atomic and Space centres etc.

The approved strength of CISF has increased from 1, 50,000 to 1, 80,000 personnel. CISF celebrated year 2017 as Year of Training and have imparted Basic training to approx 20,000 recruits this year out of which 3,400 are being trained in Recruitment and Training Center Bhilai. Among the best performers awarded on this occasion were constable Ankush Sawant was awarded with Governer’s medal.

While, all round best trophy, outdoor best trophy went to constable Kinewad Namdeo who was the Parade Commander. While, B Piyush Kumar was adjudged best shooter. Besides, the best trophy of outdoor was awarded to Jitendra Kumar Deshwal. K K Bhardwaj, Commandant, RTC Bhilai proposed the vote of thanks while concluding the significant occasion of passing out of yet another batch of Recruitment and Training Center.
