MP Equestrian Academy player Sagar clinches 2 bronze medals

Madhya Pradesh Equestrian Academy players clinched 24 medals in Junior National Equestrian Championship and 41 medals in Madhya Bharat Equestrian Championship which started on December 22 and concluded on Sunday. Final match of 2 km cross country race of young rider was played on Sunday. The equestrians performed their best in the events which was centre of attraction for everyone at the MP Equestrian Academy.

Sagar Tiwari of MP Equestrian Academy clinched a bronze medal each in individual events of Young Rider in Junior National Equestrian Championship and Madhya Bharat Equestrian Championship. MP Equestrian Academy players bagged 65 medals including 24 medals in Junior National Equestrian Championship and 41 medals in Madhya Bharat Equestrian Championship in the Championship. There were 72 medals in all in the championship and MP Equestrian Academy players clinched one third medals. Equestrian Academy chief coach Captain Bhagirath said that Madhya Pradesh was overall champion in two groups.

Balaji B of IRS clinched gold medal, Rohit Mehta of URV clinched silver medal and Sagar Tiwari of MP Equestrian Academy clinched bronze medal in Junior National Equestrian Championship and Madhya Bharat Equestrian Championship. Balaji B riding on Recordo horse performed his best and clinched two gold medals, Rohit Mehta clinched silver medal and MP Equestrian Academy player Sagar Tiwari clinched two bronze medals.

In team event, RBC-C team succeeded to clinched gold medal, RBC-4 team clinched silver medal and RBC-B team bagged bronze medal. NDA team remained on fourth place in the team event. Similarly, these teams securing first, second and third position clinched gold, silver and bronze medal respectively in Madhya Bharat Equestrian Championship.
