23,000 students participate in Scouts, Guides camp in C’garh

More than 23,000 Scouts and Guides participated in Scouts and Guides’ Meet organised at Jamburi ground in Chhattishgarh state organised by the Indian Scouts Guides Fellowship, district Seoni. Senior Scouts from the district also participated.

It may be mentioned that Senior Scouts of Mowgali- Land Group, Seoni which are undertaking publicity for the Scouts movement under guidance of District Training Commissioner, R P Kohru under Indian Scout-Guide Fellowship, Seoni.

Senior Scout, Dr. Mahendra Daharwal and Ratnesh Kohru under the guidance of District President of Fellowship, Amit Rojade participated as campers at Somani Rajanandangaon in Chhattishgarh State. They observed scouts activities there.
According to information from Fellowship Spokesman, Senior Scout, Nitin Saxsena informed that in this Maha Jamburi camp 29 districts of Chhattishgarh, 19 States and Scouts from Bhutan in all 23000 Scouts and Guides have participated.

It may be mentioned that this camp was organised between December 28 to January 2 in Jamburi under guidance of State Chief Commissioner, Gajendra Yadav. This camp would be remembered for Group Karma Dance and two world records of shaking hands.
